I watched some good movies and started to read a good book. My favorite movie of the day was “Pay it Forward.” What a beautiful practice. In the story, a young boy is challenged by his teacher to come up with an idea that would change the world and then he had to put the idea into action. With the brilliance of a child, the young boy decides to do something good for three people, something that really challenges him to do. He asks each person to pay it forward by doing something good for three more people, thus growing the numbers of people being kind. His idea becomes a movement, with examples of people all over doing good things for others. I saw this movie years ago, and have often practiced the idea of paying it forward, and have asked others to do the same. It seems there are many opportunities for a Reiki and shamanic practitioner, and healer to use this young boys idea. The only difference is that I don’t always require that it is really hard for me to do. I believe in asking for life to be easy, so I also appreciate giving where I can, especially when it is easy for me to do so. And I don’t always ask the person who receives my gift to pay it forward. Sometimes I believe the gift is just for them to receive, with no requirements at all. Anyway, I watched the movie again, and I recommend it!
